Frequently asked questions.
Do I need sensors to get started?
No. Assessments, dictation with iKo, programmes and follow-up all work without sensors. Jump, running, walking, range-of-motion and stability analyses use iKinesis sensors.
Is the patient app paid?
No. Your patients access their programme and exercises for free in the iKinesis app, on iOS and Android.
Where is the data hosted?
In Europe. The clinical record belongs to the practitioner. Voice dictated to iKo is transcribed in the EU, and the audio is not stored.
What happens if I stop my subscription?
You keep read access to your records. Only creation features (new analyses, new assessments) are disabled.
Can several of us work in one practice?
Yes. Several practitioners per practice, and a record can be shared with a colleague with the patient's consent.
